It features high frequency charging technology that charges up to two times faster than conventional chargers and provides pure DC output to provide a stable charge. It has a patented alternator check which indicates condition of the alternator and a reverse hook-up protection that prevents the damage caused by incorrect terminal connections. The Black & Decker 25 Amp High Frequency Battery Charger consists of a digital LED display showing the battery voltage and the battery's reconditioning improves its ability to accept a charge. The charger's microprocessor automatically switches between charging mode and float mode monitoring for optimal battery life.
