You can verify whether your Jetta is an A4 or A5 platform by referring to the 17-digit Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). This can be found at the base of the windshield on the driver's side. If the 7th and 8th digits of your VIN are "1K", you have an A5 platform Jetta and this manual will cover your car.
