BMW Haynes Repair Manual for R1200 Twins (2004 - 2009)

I haven't had to use this manual to any great depth yet - it has been a learning and "getting to know" tool so far - and it has done well at that.

My one and only beef with Haynes is that, in this day and age, they are still using black-and-white, not very clear photographs to illustrate their manuals. Since this type of work relies so very heavily (in my view) on pictorial illustrations to show what they are referring to, this poorer quality type of illustration really lets them down, especially with the quality of printing available nowadays. It would cost more to produce the manuals with better illustrations? - well, this buyer would happily pay more for a manual with clearer pictures.

That apart, these manuals are pretty comprehensive and show what to do and/or what is involved in most any task. Mind you, I'm a "handyman" type of worker, so please bear that in mind when reading this review!!! :)

I have used Haynes before and they do a good job. Looks complete. Hope to just use it for regular maintenance.
