This is a two-can system — a translucent black base coat that creates the dark shadow effect over chrome or polished metal, followed by a clear top coat that adds gloss, depth, and protection.

The finish is heat-resistant to 250 degrees Fahrenheit, which makes it suitable for chrome wheels, bumpers, interior and exterior trim, accessories, and underhood components that see moderate heat. The coating resists brake dust, chipping, road abrasion, and fading, so it holds up to daily driving conditions. Each kit covers approximately 12 to 14 square feet total, which is typically enough for a set of chrome trim pieces or a pair of bumpers.

Application works best with light, even coats — the more coats of the black base you apply, the darker the shadow effect. Start light and build up to the level of darkness you want, then seal it with the clear coat. Work in a well-ventilated area between 50 and 90 degrees for the smoothest results.
