Sylvania SilverStar 9006XS Halogen Headlight Bulb (Twin Pack)

Sylvania built the SilverStar line to bridge the gap between basic replacement bulbs and the higher-end aftermarket options, and the 9006XS SilverStar delivers on that with a noticeably whiter light compared to stock halogen bulbs. The blue ceramic coating technology shifts the color temperature to produce improved contrast and clarity during night driving.

Under the glass, Sylvania uses a specially designed filament and a proprietary gas mixture that work together with the coating to produce brighter downroad and sideroad light output. The bulb runs at 55 watts on 12 volts with a PGJ19-2 base, producing 1,000 lumens with a rated life of 200 hours. That rated life is typical for performance halogen bulbs since the brighter output trades some longevity compared to basic replacement bulbs. The 9006XS designation refers to the specific connector style, which is a variation of the standard 9006 base.

Sylvania recommends replacing headlight bulbs in pairs so both sides match in color and brightness. This twin pack gives you both bulbs. These are DOT compliant and legal for on-road use, and they are made in the United States.
