A/C Pro Ultra Synthetic R-134a Refrigerant A/C Recharge (20 oz.)

The AC Pro Ultra Synthetic kit (model ACP-100V) from Interdynamics contains approximately 17 oz of R-134a refrigerant pre-mixed with PAG oil and a proprietary additive package, totaling 20 oz. The additives are formulated to condition and seal common leak points in rubber hoses, gaskets, and O-rings, and to neutralize acid and moisture accumulation inside the A/C system. The kit ships with a 24-inch braided recharge hose and a reusable trigger dispenser with a built-in low-pressure gauge calibrated to indicate undercharge, normal, and overcharge zones by color band.

This product is compatible only with R-134a A/C systems, which the EPA required on all new passenger vehicles from 1995 through 2020 model years. Starting with model year 2021, manufacturers were required to transition to R-1234yf. If your vehicle is a 2021 or newer model year, check the refrigerant label under the hood or in the owner's manual before purchasing — adding R-134a to an R-1234yf system will contaminate it. The low-side service port couplers on R-134a and R-1234yf systems are physically different sizes, so an incorrect connection attempt will not seat, but cross-contamination can still occur if adapters are used.

Charging procedure: with the engine running and the A/C set to max cold and high fan, connect the hose to the low-side service port (larger diameter, typically marked L or LO), monitor pressure on the gauge, and add refrigerant in short bursts until the needle reaches the green zone for the ambient temperature. This kit is designed for consumer DIY top-offs, not for systems with major leaks or mechanical compressor failures.
