The flaps themselves are made from a half-inch thick rubber, which is substantial enough to handle the elements and provide good coverage. The aluminum frame includes a stabilizer plate to keep them from flapping around too much, and all the hardware is stainless steel, so it won't rust out. You get a set of two, one for each side, and they measure 12 inches wide by 23 inches long, offering good protection for your truck.
