AEM 2016 C.A.S. Lexus IS200T L4-2.0L F/I Gunmetal Gray Cold Air Intake

Mandrel-bent aluminum tubing and an oversized Dryflow synthetic air filter make up the core of this AEM cold air intake system for the 2016-2017 Lexus IS200t and 2018-2025 IS300 with the L4 2.0L turbo engine. AEM designed, tuned, and dyno-tested the 21-791C specifically for this platform, so the tubing routes and mounts are built around the engine bay rather than adapted from another application.

Air enters through the Dryflow filter, which uses oil-free synthetic media rated for up to 100,000 miles before it needs cleaning. That means no re-oiling between services, which is one less thing to keep track of. The filter sits in the original air box location behind a heat shield that helps keep intake temperatures down by separating the filter from engine heat. The intake tubing itself has a gunmetal gray powder-coated finish that holds up well in the engine bay. AEM also made sure the system accommodates the factory emissions control devices, including the valve cover breather hose, so you are not bypassing anything on the emissions side.

Installation uses commonly available hand tools, and the system is a direct bolt-in. Note that this intake is not CARB-approved, so check your local emissions regulations before purchasing if you are in California or a state that follows California standards.
