The filter features an injection molded base and top for lighter weight and rigidity. Its base includes a built-in 3-angle velocity stack for smooth, even airflow and captive screws to easily attach the filter to the housing. Quantum uses an integrated filter-to-housing design that attaches both components with four captive screws, making for a positive surface area seal, as well as easy installation and maintenance. Its durable sealed housing features a unique, five rib, industrial-grade look for aFe quality recognition. Quantum uses a dyno-tuned, computer designed intake tube to achieve optimum air flow and a perfect fit. Its XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) polymer material is heat soak resistant and extremely durable.
