This is the ARP 434-1901 stainless steel oil pan stud kit for small block Chevy engines. If you're working on the bottom end of your small block Chevy, whether it's a rebuild or just replacing the oil pan, using studs instead of bolts makes the job much easier. Studs thread into the block and stay put, so you can slide the oil pan gasket and pan into place without it falling off. Then you just thread on the nuts.
ARP uses stainless steel for these studs, which means they won't rust or corrode, even in the damp environment of the engine bay. This kit includes all the studs and nuts you'll need to properly secure your oil pan. It's a well-built piece that takes some of the frustration out of a common engine task.
