Product Details
ARP makes this head stud kit for the 1988-1992 Toyota Celica and 1991-1995 Toyota MR2. These 12-point head studs replace the factory head bolts to provide more clamping force. This is important when you're building an engine that needs to handle more power or higher boost levels than stock.
ARP uses high-grade alloy steel for these studs, heat-treated to 200,000 psi tensile strength. They are centerless ground for a perfect concentricity and then polished. The threads are rolled after heat-treating, which makes them much stronger than threads that are cut.
