Product Details
ARP makes this head stud kit for the 1985-2006 Volkswagen Golf. This kit replaces the stock head bolts with stronger studs, helping to keep the cylinder head sealed tight when you're running higher boost or dealing with increased cylinder pressures.
These studs are made from ARP's 8740 chromoly steel, which is heat-treated to over 200,000 psi tensile strength. The threads are rolled after heat-treating for better fatigue life, and the studs are undercut to reduce stress concentration.
