AST 01-06 Honda EP3 / DC5 type R 5300 Comp Series Coilovers

AST makes these 5300 Comp Series coilovers for the 2002-2006 Acura RSX and 2002-2005 Honda Civic. If you're serious about track performance, these coilovers let you fine-tune your suspension for maximum control. They feature a monotube design with external reservoirs for separate adjustment of rebound and both high-speed and low-speed compression.

The monotube design handles side loads and braking forces well. You can adjust the rebound with 12 distinct positions, controlling how the damper returns after compression. The kit also allows separate adjustment of low-speed compression (for gradual suspension movement) and high-speed compression (for quick impacts). This lets you reduce body roll in corners, improve steering response, and keep tires planted for better traction. Where applicable, they include camber-adjustable front top mounts and solid rear top mounts to further tune front-end grip.
