This kit from AST Suspension gives you a set of 5100 Series Street Coilovers, designed for the 2007-2015 Audi R8 with rear-wheel drive. You'll receive front dampers featuring a coilover setup and rear dampers that maintain a divorced setup, similar to the original factory configuration. This approach helps achieve a comfortable ride while still allowing for precise control over your car's road balance and grip. The kit includes springs and is intended to work with your vehicle's OEM top mounts.

AST uses a monotube damper design in these coilovers. This means they have a large piston inside, which gives you better control over the rebound damping adjustments. Monotube dampers also prevent aeration and foaming, leading to more responsive valving and consistent performance, especially under demanding driving conditions. You can easily fine-tune your car's feel by adjusting the rebound knob, which controls how quickly the damper extends after being compressed. There are 12 distinct positions for rebound adjustment, allowing you to dial in the exact road balance you prefer. The rear springs are vehicle-specific and have fixed rates, based on AST's extensive development and testing.
