97.95mm bore size. Athena offers this 4-stroke forged racing piston for your 2004-2013 Yamaha YFZ450 Bill Balance Edition. It's made from a high-performance aluminum alloy with a lot of silicon, giving you better resistance and performance than stock, while keeping similar reliability.
This piston is made using CNC machining tools that hold tolerances to less than 0.01 mm. The smooth profile helps with regular flow and proper flame spread. Some pistons also get a molybdenum disulfide coating on the skirt to cut down on friction, which helps performance and makes it last longer.
