Athena 21-23 Fantic XE 2T 125 2T 53.95mm Bore Cast Piston (For OE Cylinder)

This Athena cast piston kit includes the piston itself, designed for a 53.95mm bore and intended for use with the original equipment (OE) cylinder. Athena has been making motorcycle spare parts for over 40 years, and this piston is part of their new range of off-road cast pistons.

These pistons are made from special high-performance alloys, including nickel, silica, and aluminum. They are produced using advanced CNC machining tools that hold dimensional tolerances to less than 0.01 mm. This construction aims to provide reliability similar to an OE piston, while also offering improved resistance and performance. The smooth profile of the piston is designed to ensure regular flow and proper flame propagation within the cylinder.

For some pistons, the skirt is treated with a molybdenum disulfide coating applied through screen printing. This treatment is intended to further reduce friction, which can enhance both performance and durability.
