This Athena cast piston is designed for your Gas Gas MC 65. You get the piston itself, ready to be installed in your 2-stroke engine. It's built with special alloys of nickel, silica, and aluminum, giving you the same reliability as the original equipment piston but with added resistance and performance.
Athena uses advanced CNC machining tools to ensure the piston's dimensions are held to very tight tolerances, less than 0.01 mm. This precise sizing helps ensure a regular flow of fuel and air mixture and proper flame spread within the cylinder. For some pistons, a molybdenum disulfide coating is applied to the skirt to further reduce friction, which can improve performance and make the piston last longer.
