Product Details
Rubber seals and gaskets dry out and harden over time, which is how small oil leaks turn into spots on the garage floor. ATP AT-205 Re-Seal works as a plasticizer, the same type of chemical used during rubber manufacturing to set flexibility. When added to the oil, it circulates through the system and conditions those dried-out seals from the inside, restoring their flexibility and sealing ability.
One 8 oz bottle treats a 6-quart system capacity, and you adjust proportionally for larger or smaller systems. AT-205 is compatible with conventional and synthetic oils, automatic transmission fluid, gear oil, power steering fluid, and hydraulic oil, so it works across the engine, transmission, differential, and power steering systems. The only exception is brake systems, which should never be treated with this product.
AT-205 does not contain petroleum distillates and will not over-swell or break down the seals it treats. Engine main seals typically need about 5 hours of running time for the product to take full effect, though some leaks respond faster. It is a straightforward add-and-drive treatment with no draining or flushing required.

I was having trouble with my power steering making noise due to a leak somewhere. A friend told me about this product and I haven't heard a peep out of my car again.
