Product Details
AutoMeter is well-known for making reliable gauges and accessories for performance vehicles. This is a replacement temperature sensor designed for their older Short Sweep Electric (SSE) electric temperature gauges, specifically those made before 1995. You can spot these by their light blue case and the black mask around the pointer hubs on the gauge face.
This sensor has a 1/8" NPTF male thread, which is a common size for sending units. To help you get it installed, it comes with adapter bushings so you can use it with 3/8" NPT or 1/2" NPT ports. If you have one of these classic AutoMeter gauges and the original sensor has given up, this replacement will get your temperature readings back online.
