AWE developed these intercoolers during their own high-horsepower turbo kit development. The cores are 37% larger than stock, measuring 422 cubic inches compared to the factory 308 cubic inches. They use a high-flow bar and plate design, built to specific charge row and fin count specifications to improve intake temperatures and reduce pressure drop across the core. The end tanks are cast and then CNC machined for optimized airflow.
