AWE developed this exhaust specifically for the EJ25 engine in the VA STI and GV WRX/STI sedans, unlike other companies that use a single design for multiple vehicles. It’s a full 3-inch, straight-through system designed to let the EJ25 engine produce its signature rumble, along with crackles on shifts, without annoying in-cabin drone or rasp. This is achieved using AWE’s 180 Technology® drone-canceling solution.

The system is handcrafted from U.S.-sourced 3-inch, .065-inch wall T304L stainless steel. It’s a direct bolt-on installation that maximizes performance. AWE claims gains of up to 11 horsepower and 11 lb-ft of torque at the wheels.
