It's built for the 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 with the 5.9L 245hp engine and extended cab. Banks engineers look at stock vehicles to find where components choke airflow, create backpressure, raise EGTs, and compromise fuel delivery. They then give back the power, durability, and engine efficiency the factory left on the table.

This system includes the Banks High-Ram air-inlet casting and the Big Hoss Diesel Tuner calibration with the Stinger system. With additional airflow and boost available to the intake valves, Banks calibrates the Big Hoss features to reshape air and fuel curves for maximum horsepower and torque. Expect gains of up to +100 hp and +210 lb-ft torque, with a reported 12% better mileage and prolonged engine life.
