Product Details
This Banks Power boost tube kit replaces the restrictive stock tubing on your 2004.5-2009 Chevy or GMC 6.6L Duramax. It features a constant 3-inch diameter, which offers 60% greater flow area than the factory pipe. This improved airflow helps the turbocharger spool up faster and can lead to lower Exhaust Gas Temperatures (EGTs).
The tube is made from aluminized steel with mandrel bends for a smooth, consistent path for air. It works with the stock intercooler and elbow, and the red powder-coat finish stops before the end of the tube to ensure the heavy-duty silicone couplers grip securely. Spring-loaded constant tension clamps are used to maintain a strong seal under high boost conditions.
