Banks Power makes this Techni-Cooler intercooler system for the 2008-2010 Ford 6.4L Power Stroke. It replaces the stock plastic-tank intercooler with a larger, all-aluminum unit designed to handle more airflow and reduce air temperatures. This helps improve engine efficiency and power, especially under heavy loads or towing.
This system features a thicker core area and wider inlet/outlet than the factory part. The custom-machined cast aluminum end tanks are stronger than the stock plastic ones and won't burst under pressure. It's designed to reduce boost pressure loss, meaning more of the air compressed by the turbocharger makes it to the engine.
