This intake uses a massive, free-flowing intake tube and a patented Air Mass Control Module. This electronic device allows the system to overcome the tighter induction tuning limits on newer Duramax engines. The enclosed airbox design keeps hot engine air out, while connections to the OEM hood and ram air scoops help pull in cooler air at speed. An extra side inlet also draws air from the wheel well for a more aggressive intake sound.
