It replaces the stock grid heater, a common failure point, and improves airflow into your engine for better throttle response and fuel economy. This is the Gen-2 system with a fuel line and heater capability.
The Monster-Ram intake elbow is larger and less restrictive than the stock unit, allowing more oxygen-rich air into the cylinders. This helps raise boost pressure without increasing turbine drive pressure, leading to quicker throttle response. The system includes four 1/8 inch NPT ports for accessories and uses stock mounting points for an easier installation. It outflows the stock intake by over 88.3% and has a 3-3/8 inch inlet.
