The Banks Power 52428 muffler replaces the restrictive stock unit on your 1998-2004 Ford F-150, F-250, or F-350 with the 5.4L or 6.8L engine. It uses a straight-through flow path to improve airflow and deliver a deeper exhaust note.
This muffler is constructed from polished stainless steel and features a 3.5-inch inlet and outlet. It includes an exclusive expansion chamber designed to reduce annoying mid-range drone, a common issue with other straight-through muffler designs. The internal packing uses durable ceramic material that won't degrade over time like fiberglass.
