Built with high-temp, solid-state components, the Banks Power TransCommand 62560 is an electronic module that manages your Ford E4OD or 4R100 automatic transmission. These transmissions, found in full-sized Ford trucks and vans since 1989, often have soft, car-like shifts. If you prefer firmer shifts, especially when hauling loads, this module is a quick fix. It senses the load and raises hydraulic pressure for better shift control.
This module changes how your transmission shifts based on the driving conditions. Light-throttle shifts become smooth and firm, while heavy-load or full-throttle situations result in solid, decisive shifts. This helps eliminate excessive clutch slippage, which in turn extends the life of your transmission.
