Product Details
1-3/4 inch CNC mandrel bent tubing is used to build these BBK Performance shorty tuned length exhaust headers. They replace the factory manifolds on 2009-2018 Dodge Ram 1500 trucks with the 5.7L Hemi engine. These headers help exhaust gases exit the engine more freely, which can increase horsepower and torque.
Tuned length design helps improve scavenging, meaning exhaust gases are pulled out more efficiently. This leads to better combustion and can improve fuel economy compared to stock or equal length headers. The flanges are 3/8 inch thick and laser cut for a solid, leak-free seal. They are robotically welded and pressure tested for reliability.
