This part is made to connect BBK long tube headers (Part #1950 or #19500) directly to your truck's catback exhaust system. Combined with headers, this mid pipe helps increase exhaust flow, which can improve your Ram 1500's sound and performance.
The Y-pipe is constructed from 2.5-inch mandrel-bent aluminized steel for smooth exhaust flow. It uses high-flow steel substrate catalytic converters to further reduce backpressure compared to stock converters.
