BBK uses 1-1/2 inch CNC mandrel-bent tubing for these headers. That means the tubing is bent precisely without kinking, maintaining a consistent diameter for unrestricted exhaust flow. This improved flow helps your engine produce more horsepower and torque, and the tuned length design specifically helps with exhaust scavenging. Scavenging is basically how efficiently the exhaust gases are pulled out of the cylinders. Better scavenging means a more complete combustion cycle, which can lead to improved performance and even better fuel economy compared to stock manifolds or equal-length headers. The 3/8 inch thick laser-cut flanges are built strong to resist warping and ensure a leak-free seal, and every header is robotically welded and pressure tested for long-term reliability.

This particular header comes with a polished silver ceramic coating, which looks sharp and helps manage heat. You'll also find new exhaust header gaskets and all the necessary hardware included in the kit, so you have what you need to get the job done.
