You get a twin 58mm throttle body in this kit, which means it's designed to let more air into your engine for improved performance. This BBK Power Plus Series throttle body is a direct replacement for your stock unit on 1994-1997 Chevrolet Camaros, 1994-1996 Corvettes and Impalas, and 1994-1997 Pontiac Firebirds equipped with the LT1 5.7L engine. It's built to give you better horsepower, torque, and throttle response without needing a custom tune.
Each BBK throttle body is CNC machined from a new aluminum casting. They use double-sealed bearings and O-ringed throttle shafts for a solid seal, and the linkages are die-stamped like the factory parts for reliable operation. This means you get OEM-like drivability but with significantly improved airflow, often up to 30% more than stock. All the necessary gaskets and hardware are included, so you can get this installed and notice the difference.
