By slowing down accessories like the alternator and water pump just a bit, this pulley frees up an average of 8-12 horsepower. It's made from CNC machined billet aluminum, making it a well-built component that's lighter than stock. The installation is pretty simple, usually taking under 30 minutes, and it comes with all the necessary hardware and instructions. You will need a new serpentine belt to complete the installation; the kit recommends a Dayco #5060595 or Gates #K060594.
