Doing some performance work on your 1999-2004 Ford Mustang Cobra or Mach 1? Swapping out the exhaust system is a common way to unlock more power and a better sound. These BBK long tube headers, paired with their high-flow catted X-pipe, are designed to replace your factory shorty headers and mid-pipe, offering a significant upgrade in exhaust flow and performance across the entire RPM range.

BBK builds these headers with CNC mandrel-bent tubing, which means the pipes maintain their round shape through bends, allowing exhaust gases to exit more freely than crushed or kinked tubing. This improved flow directly translates to more horsepower and torque. The headers feature 3/8-inch thick laser-cut flanges for a solid seal and a patented collector design that helps scavenge exhaust gases more effectively. They also use gasket-less ball and socket connectors, making it easier to connect the mid-pipe without worrying about traditional gaskets failing over time. The included mid-pipe has high-flow catalytic converters, which help reduce emissions while still allowing for substantial performance gains and a more aggressive exhaust note. The entire kit is finished with a high-temperature titanium ceramic coating, which not only looks sharp but also helps manage under-hood temperatures.

This kit is designed as a direct bolt-on replacement for your factory exhaust components and will connect directly to your existing cat-back system.
