This remanufactured turbocharger from BD Diesel is built to bring your L5P Duramax engine back to life. When a turbo starts to fail, you'll notice a loss of power, increased exhaust smoke, or strange noises, and replacing it is key to getting your truck running right again.
BD Diesel takes a thorough approach to remanufacturing. Each turbo is completely disassembled, cleaned, and inspected. Then, all the critical wear items are replaced, including seals, piston rings, and journal bearings. They've even upgraded the journal bearings to an oversized design for improved longevity. The turbocharger's actuator is also tested and calibrated to ensure it functions correctly right out of the box, and the entire assembly is high-speed balanced for smooth operation.
