When you're looking to get more out of your 2001-2004 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD or GMC Sierra 2500 HD with the 6.6L Duramax LB7 engine, this BD Diesel Screamer Turbocharger is a solid option. This unit is designed as a direct replacement for your stock turbo, meaning it fits right into your existing setup without major modifications. It utilizes updated compressor and turbine wheel technology to increase airflow, which can lead to improved performance, especially when paired with other supporting modifications. The turbo comes preset to approximately 32psi of boost and is balanced on a high-speed VSR balancer to ensure it can handle the increased pressure safely.

BD Diesel has incorporated a 63.0mm billet compressor wheel and a larger 64mm 'mixed flow' turbine wheel into this design. This combination aims to increase turbine flow and efficiency, helping to lower exhaust gas temperatures (EGTs) and drive pressure compared to stock. In testing with the same tune and boost levels, this turbo has shown an increase of around 10hp and a reduction in EGTs by about 30°F, with drive pressure dropping by 4.5psi. The upgraded BD Wastegate Canister is also included. With the right supporting modifications, this turbo is capable of supporting up to 630 horsepower, making it suitable for towing, street use, and even some race applications. It's also compatible with most 'box' tuners.
