If you've got a Ford Super Duty with a 6.0L, 6.4L, or 6.7L Power Stroke engine, this High Idle Control kit from BD Diesel is designed to help you out. It's especially useful when you need your engine to reach operating temperature quicker, like on cold mornings, or when you're using a Power Take-Off (PTO) unit, or just need to keep the engine running at an elevated idle for extended periods.
This kit is pretty straightforward to install and is adjustable, letting you set the idle speed to suit your needs. For 2005-2010 models, you can adjust the idle between 1200-2400 RPM, and for 2011-2016 models, it goes from 900-3000 RPM. Getting the engine up to temperature faster means less wear and tear, and better performance in demanding situations.
This kit includes the necessary wiring harness, tie wraps, and hardware to get it installed. Just a heads-up, this part is not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California.
