If you're looking to significantly increase the power handling capability of your 2007-2010 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD's drivetrain, this BD Diesel Stage 4 Allison 1000 transmission is a solid choice. The stock transmission is typically designed to handle the output of a factory engine, but when you start adding more power, it can become a weak point. This transmission is built to address that, offering a substantial upgrade in durability and performance for your truck.

BD Diesel has engineered this transmission with a focus on increased strength and reliability. It features an increased clutch count across multiple clutch packs, including an 8-clutch C1 pack (14% over stock), 7-clutch C2 (17% over stock), 7-clutch C3 (75% over stock), and 7-clutch C4 and C5 packs (17% over stock). These upgrades, along with revised oil circuits and stronger internals, allow this transmission to handle up to 300% more power and torque than a stock unit. It also includes new A & B trim valves for full line pressure to the clutches and a converter lock-up valve to boost lock-up pressures. Each transmission is dyno tested to ensure it meets BD's standards before it leaves the facility.

Included with this transmission is a BD Aluminum HD deep transmission pan, which increases oil capacity by 3.5 quarts. This extra capacity helps keep the transmission fluid cooler under heavy loads, further enhancing durability. Please note that using a third-party or OE converter will invalidate the warranty. This transmission is not warranted for race or sled pull use, but it does come with a 36-month or 150,000-mile limited warranty for peace of mind.
