The shock features a large 55mm body diameter and a twin-tube design, which allows for more oil and better heat dissipation, helping the shock last longer. A hardened steel dust cover protects the piston rod and seals from damage and UV exposure, and the large 30mm piston helps prevent oil breakdown, further improving durability. It also uses high-durometer rubber bushings to cut down on noise and vibration.
