Belltech ND2 OEM Shock

Belltech designed the ND2 OEM shock with a large 55mm body diameter and a twin-tube design. This setup allows for a greater volume of shock oil, which helps dissipate heat more effectively. This means the shock can handle more consistent performance, even under demanding conditions, and it also contributes to a longer service life for the shock itself.

Engineers focused on tuning the shock valving to offer a comfortable ride for daily drivers, while also enhancing road feel and grip. They achieved this by increasing low-speed compression and carefully adjusting the rebound forces. The shock also features a low-friction sealing and guide system that allows it to react quickly to small movements without significant temperature increases, even during hard use. A hardened chrome 12.5mm piston rod is protected by a steel dust cover, which resists damage from UV exposure and chemicals, ensuring the rod and seals stay in good condition.

This shock uses high-durometer vulcanized rubber bushings, which are tuned to reduce noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) for a more comfortable driving experience. It's a solid option if you're looking to maintain your truck's original ride height and comfort while getting a bit more responsiveness from the suspension.
