Belltech SHOCK SET NITRO DROP 2

Belltech designed this Nitro Drop 2 shock set with a specific focus on the daily driver truck and SUV customer. The engineers increased the low-speed compression and adjusted the rebound forces in the shock valving. This setup aims to give you a factory-style ride comfort while also improving road feel and grip, making it a solid option for your 1997-2002 Ford Expedition.

These shocks feature a large 55mm body diameter with a twin-tube design. This allows for a greater volume of oil, which helps with heat dissipation and can lead to a longer shock life. The hardened chrome 12.5mm piston rods are protected by a steel dust cover, which won't deteriorate from UV exposure or chemicals. Inside, 30mm pistons with low-friction Teflon seals and a Teflon guide bushing help eliminate oil breakdown, further improving durability.

The Nitro Drop 2 line also includes application-specific shortened bodies. This is important because it ensures you have the correct amount of shock travel, especially when used with lowering kits. The tuned, high-durometer vulcanized rubber bushings are designed to reduce noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH), contributing to a more comfortable driving experience.
