Starting with the 51mm wide body construction, these Belltech Street Performance shocks are built to hold a larger volume of oil. This increased oil capacity helps dissipate heat more effectively, which means the shocks can work consistently over longer periods and under tougher conditions, leading to a longer service life. The engineers specifically focused on tuning the low-speed compression characteristics. This is key for controlling how your Rodeo handles body movements like pitch, roll, dive, and squat, helping you feel more confident and in command, especially when navigating turns or uneven surfaces.

Inside, you'll find a 35mm piston paired with low-friction Teflon seals, allowing for greater hydraulic control during rapid wheel movements and throughout the shock's travel. A hardened chrome 15mm piston rod is protected by a steel dust cover, which won't break down from UV exposure or chemicals like rubber boots can. The triple-lip NBR rod seal and Teflon guide bushing work together to create a low-friction system that reacts quickly to even small road imperfections, maintaining performance without significant temperature increases. These shocks also feature tuned, high-durometer vulcanized rubber bushings that help reduce noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) for a more comfortable ride.
