This is the Bilstein Black Hawk Powersports rear shock and coil spring assembly, designed to significantly improve the performance of your Polaris RZR XP 1000. What sets these coilovers apart is Bilstein's patented ZoneControl position-sensitive damping technology. It features 5 independently tuned damping zones—3 for compression and 2 for rebound—which adapt to the suspension's travel. This system includes an internal Jounce Cut Off (JCO) that acts like a two-stage hydraulic bump stop, with a 10-position clicker to fine-tune bottom-out control. For rebound, the Rebound Cut Off (RCO) helps settle the vehicle during suspension droop and protects the damper, potentially eliminating the need for a limit strap. You get four external adjustments: high and low-speed compression, rebound, and JCO, all easily accessible for on-the-fly tuning.
