They utilize Bilstein's patented ZoneControl position sensitive technology, which means they have 5 independently tuned damping zones—3 for compression and 2 for rebound. This system includes an internal Jounce Cut Off (JCO) that acts like a two-stage hydraulic bump stop, and you can fine-tune its bottom-out control with a 10-position clicker. For rebound, there's a Rebound Cut Off (RCO) that helps settle the vehicle after suspension droop and protects the damper, potentially eliminating the need for a limit strap.
