What sets these apart is Bilstein's ZoneControl position-sensitive damping. It uses 5 independently tuned zones—3 for compression and 2 for rebound—to manage the suspension's travel. This includes an internal Jounce Cut Off system, which acts like a hydraulic bump stop to prevent harsh bottoming out. You can fine-tune this with a 10-position clicker for bottom-out control. For rebound, there's a Rebound Cut Off feature that helps settle the vehicle smoothly after suspension extension, even protecting the damper and potentially eliminating the need for a limit strap.
