With this six-pack of Blue Devil Rear Main Sealer, you get six 8-ounce bottles ready to tackle one of the most dreaded engine leaks. A rear main seal leak is expensive to fix the traditional way because the seal sits between the engine and transmission, meaning a mechanic has to separate the two to replace it. Blue Devil's approach avoids that entirely.

You pour the sealer directly into your engine oil, and it works by restoring dried, cracked, and shrunken rubber seals back to their original condition. The formula circulates through the oil system, reaching the rear main seal and any other seals that have started to leak, including timing cover seals. It contains no petroleum distillates that could harm seals or engine components, and it works with both gasoline and diesel engines running conventional or synthetic oil. Most leaks seal within about two days of normal driving as the product conditions the seals.
