In this box, you get a BMC high-performance air filter designed specifically for your 2019 Indian FTR 1200 and FTR 1200 S. This filter is made from multiple layers of cotton gauze, soaked in a special oil, and then covered with a fine alloy mesh. This construction helps trap impurities as small as 7 microns, which is a finer level of filtration than the stock filter, while still allowing for increased airflow to your engine.

The multi-layered cotton gauze is the key to its improved performance. It's designed to let more air in than a standard paper filter, which can help your engine breathe a little easier. The oil helps catch the finer particles, and the epoxy-coated mesh protects the filter material from fuel vapors and humidity, ensuring it holds up over time. Because it's made using a single mold, there are no welded joints that could potentially break down. This filter is also washable and can be regenerated using a BMC regeneration kit, meaning you can reuse it multiple times over its lifespan.
