If you're looking to get the most out of your 2005-2014 S197 Mustang's suspension, this body-mounted Watts link from BMR Suspension is a serious upgrade. A Watts link is designed to keep your rear axle perfectly centered under the car as the suspension moves up and down. This eliminates unwanted side-to-side movement, which can really affect how the car handles, especially during hard cornering or aggressive driving.

BMR built this Watts link to be incredibly strong. The main body is fabricated from heavy-duty 1x2-inch, 0.120-inch wall rectangular steel tubing and 1/4-inch laser-cut steel plate. The axle mounts are just as solid, made from 3/16-inch laser-cut and CNC-formed steel plate. You'll notice the double shear link mounts where the adjustable aluminum links connect to the center pivot – this design adds a lot of strength and prevents any flex, unlike some other setups that use single shear mounts. The center pivot itself is made from 3/8-inch plate steel and uses a greasable Delrin bushing for smooth, bind-free operation. The adjustable links use strong 5/8-inch rod ends with Teflon lining and polyurethane bushings, along with custom stainless steel spacers, making on-car adjustments straightforward.

The best part is that this Watts link is a 100-percent bolt-in installation. There's no cutting or welding required on your Mustang's chassis, making the installation much simpler.
