When you're working on the front end of your 2005-2014 Ford Mustang, this tubular K-member from BMR Suspension is what you get in the box: the K-member itself, integrated engine mounts that lower the engine by 1/2 inch, and standard rack mounts. This setup is designed to replace the heavy factory K-member, shedding significant weight and boosting the structural rigidity of your Mustang's front end. It's a popular choice for those looking to make room for larger headers or turbo kits, and it's built to handle everything from daily driving to serious drag racing and track use.

BMR builds these K-members using a combination of 1-inch, 1-1/4-inch, and 1-1/2-inch DOM tubing, creating a structure that's both lightweight and incredibly strong. The factory K-member and mounts tip the scales at around 46 pounds, but this BMR unit comes in at just 26 pounds, a 20-pound saving right off the bat. This weight reduction, combined with BMR's lower A-arms and other frontend components, can lead to an overall frontend weight saving of up to 75 pounds. The integrated engine mounts not only lower the engine for better clearance but also contribute to this overall weight reduction. The entire assembly is designed as a direct bolt-in, meaning no cutting or welding is required for installation.

This K-member is finished in a durable black hammertone coating for a long-lasting look. While it's a direct bolt-in for most applications, keep in mind that if you have an '11-'14 Mustang with the factory aero pan, you'll need to make some modifications for it to fit. For street and handling applications, BMR strongly recommends adding their A-Arm Support Brace (AAS001) for even more rigidity. If your Mustang makes over 700 lb-ft of torque, consider upgrading to BMR's billet aluminum motor mounts (MM006) for added strength.
