BMR 08-09 Pontiac G8 Rear Hollow 22mm Adj. Sway Bar Kit w/ Bushings - Red

This BMR sway bar kit includes a 22mm hollow rear sway bar, 88-durometer polyurethane bushings, and reinforced sway bar end links. It's designed to control body roll and adjust your Pontiac G8's handling characteristics, whether you're looking for less understeer or oversteer. The stock sway bars often use smaller diameter tubing, which limits their effectiveness in controlling body lean during cornering. BMR factored in the G8's weight, intended use, and suspension motion ratio when designing this upgraded bar.

The sway bar itself is made from heavy-wall DOM tubing, cold-formed to help it keep its shape and resist fatigue over time, unlike some hot-formed bars. It's CNC-formed for precise dimensions, and BMR welded thrust washers to the bar to keep the bushings properly located and prevent side-to-side movement during aggressive driving. The included polyurethane bushings are internally fluted to hold grease and reduce deflection compared to the factory rubber ones. The end links are also reinforced to minimize flex.

With its 3-way adjustability, you can fine-tune the torsional spring rate to dial in how your G8 handles. This kit is a solid option for street performance, autocross, or road racing applications where precise handling is important.
